Basketball Recap: Menendez Comes Up Short on the Road Against Ridgeview + How To Watch

Menendez had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 64-52 to the Ridgeview Panthers. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Menendez's loss came despite strong showings from Kayne Vona and Kareem Preston Jr.. Vona shot 45% from the field en route to 13 points and five steals, while Preston Jr. posted 11 points in addition to seven rebounds and five assists. Another player making a difference was Braylon Bryson, who had ten points and seven boards.

Justyn Cappas was a one-man wrecking crew For Ridgeview. as he went 8-for-15 on his way to 24 points and eight rebounds. Aaron Carr was another key player, shooting 43% from the field to rack up 16 points.

Menendez didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 71-48 loss against Atlantic Coast on the 18th. As for Ridgeview, they have also already played their next matchup, a 64-29 defeat against Baker County on the 19th.
