After a string of three wins, FAU High's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell 70-59 to Somerset Prep.

Several Owls players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jarret Mauvais, who posted 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Antonio Mitkov, who had 14 points.

FAU High's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-2. As for Somerset Prep, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

FAU High wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 62-48 win against Sports Leadership & Management on the 16th. Somerset Prep will take on King's Academy in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. King's Academy will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Somerset Prep surely won't give up without a fight.
