Baseball Recap: Osbourn Park Takes a Loss

If Osbourn Park was riding high fresh off their 13-3 takedown of Potomac Falls on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Yellowjackets fell just short of the Riverside Ram by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday.

Cam Kim was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Osbourn Park's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Riverside, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-3.

Coming up, Osbourn Park will take on McLean at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Highlanders' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Yellowjackets' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Riverside, they will challenge Briar Woods at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
