While Fall Mountain's victory against Mascoma wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wildcats narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Royals 8-7. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Royals recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

The win got Fall Mountain back to even at 2-2. As for Mascoma, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Fall Mountain will take on rival Newport at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Mascoma is set to face off against their familiar foe Stevens at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
