Softball Recap: Noxapater Has No Trouble Against Winona

Noxapater had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victors by an 18-12 margin over Winona on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Noxapater also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Noxapater got a massive performance out of Emma Cremeen, who went 3-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. That triple was Cremeen's first of the season. Aliyah McCool was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-5.

Cremeen wasn't the only one making solid contact: Noxapater kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 19 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Noxapater's victory bumped their record up to 4-11. As for Winona, they now have a losing record of 11-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Noxapater will welcome Northeast Lauderdale at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Winona, they will be playing in front of their home fans against J.Z. George at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in the Tigers' favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while the Jaguars have been banged up by seven consecutive losses on the road.
