Softball Recap: Iola-Scandinavia Takes a Loss

Iola-Scandinavia lost against Manawa back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Thunderbirds fell 7-3 to the Wolves. The Thunderbirds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brooklyn Berrens made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-3. Katelin Rosenthal was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Iola-Scandinavia now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Manawa, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, Iola-Scandinavia will be playing at home against Nekoosa at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Manawa, they will take on Wittenberg-Birnamwood at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
