Recap: Richfield Tigers vs. Hansen Huskies
The Richfield Tigers's game on Monday was all tied up 18-18 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 42-35 to Hansen. Richfield was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Hansen apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
Several Tigers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Malia Kent, who scored 14 points along with 7 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Clancy Patterson, who scored 8 points along with 7 rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for Richfield and nudges their season record down to 4-3. As for Hansen, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
Richfield will head out on the road to face off against Twin Falls Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hansen, they will be playing at home against Castleford at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
