Adrian's rock-solid pitcher showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Wednesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Ypsilanti Grizzlies a 15-0 shutout. The Maples might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by eight runs or more this season.

Julius Robichaud was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2025.

In other batting news, Adam Parker was incredible, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Maddox Betz, who got on base in both of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

Adrian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .571. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .500 or higher in three consecutive matchups.

Adrian's record is now 10-6. As for Ypsilanti, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-13.

Coming up, Adrian will venture away from home to square off against Plymouth at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ypsilanti, they will host Thurston at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
