Baseball Game Preview: Ridgeview Wolf Pack vs. Bakersfield Drillers

For the second straight game, Ridgeview will face off against Bakersfield. The Wolf Pack will host the Drillers at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

On Monday, Ridgeview needed a bit of extra time to put away Bakersfield. They walked away with an 8-4 victory over the Drillers.

The team relied heavily on Ben Castro, who went 1-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Alex Trujillo was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Ridgeview kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Ridgeview now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Bakersfield, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 14 of their last 15 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-20-1 record this season.
