Soccer Recap: Stephenson Takes a Loss

Stephenson scored the most goals they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Riverdale Raiders by a score of 4-3. The Jaguars just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Stephenson's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Riverdale, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Stephenson take on Luella at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Luella is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.9 goals per game this season. As for Riverdale, they will take on Douglass at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Riverdale also hasn't been messing around on offense: they've averaged 3.8 goals per game.
