Basketball Recap: Grainger Starts off Right with Win over Unaka

Grainger had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They snuck past the Unaka Rangers with a 54-48 win.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grainger will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Unicoi County at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Unaka, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Appalachian Christian Team Sports (ACTS) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
