Kearney benefitted from Van emmerik in 38-34 defeat
While Kearney might've come up empty on Thursday, Ryleigh Van emmerik wasn't going down without a fight. Platte County had no answer to Van emmerik as she scored 11 points along with two steals in the loss.
Van emmerik and Kearney will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Excelsior Springs at 7:00 p.m. on February 5th.
