Basketball Recap: Oak Grove Gets the Win

Oak Grove won against Sumrall on Friday with 53 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. The Oak Grove Warriors sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 53-51 win over the Natchez Bulldogs. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 68-58 loss the last time these two teams met.

Oak Grove's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-9. As for Natchez, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-5.

Oak Grove will look to defend their home court on Friday against Petal at 7:30 p.m. As for Natchez, they will take on Florence at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
