Soccer Game Preview: Kalida vs. Ada

The Kalida Wildcats will venture away from home to challenge the Ada Bulldogs at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Kalida is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Allen East just ended the team's three-match winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty six goals in the game before, Kalida's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Ada didn't have quite enough to beat Upper Sandusky on Thursday and fell 3-2.

Ada's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3-2. As for Kalida, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5-1.

Kalida took their win against Ada in their previous matchup back in August of 2021 by a conclusive 5-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
