Soccer Game Preview: Bonneville vs. Spanish Fork

The Bonneville Lakers will take on the Spanish Fork Dons at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Spanish Fork took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Bonneville, who comes in off a win.

Bonneville is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They never let Fremont get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. Bonneville haven't had any issues with Fremont recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Spanish Fork was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They fell 2-0 to Wasatch. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Spanish Fork haven't been shut out since back in September.

Bonneville's victory bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Spanish Fork, their defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-5.

Bonneville skirted past Spanish Fork 1-0 in their previous meeting back in October of 2019. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lakers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
