Mountain Heritage has gone 7-2 against Draughn recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Cougars take on the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Draughn will be up against a hot Mountain Heritage team: the squad just extended their winning streak to six. Mountain Heritage blew past Madison 60-31 on Friday. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Cougars had established a 26 point advantage.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Draughn over NCSSM: Morganton in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Draughn blew NCSSM: Morganton out of the water with a 66-2 final score. With the Wildcats ahead 48-2 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

The victory made it two in a row for Draughn and bumps their season record up to 12-9. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 15.5 points over those games. As for Mountain Heritage, they pushed their record up to 18-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Mountain Heritage beat Draughn 55-47 in their previous meeting back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mountain Heritage since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
