Ceres's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Modesto Christian Crusaders. Considering the Bulldogs have won seven matches by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Carson Ulrich was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Davis, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

Ceres moved to 16-6 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Modesto Christian, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-20.

Looking ahead, Ceres will take on Downey in a tournament on Tuesday. As for Modesto Christian, they will be taking part in a tournament against Grace Davis at 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Spartans will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Crusaders surely won't give up without a fight.
