Basketball Recap: Lighthouse Christian Takes a Loss

After flying high against Cassville last Saturday, Lighthouse Christian came back down to earth. The Lighthouse Christian Chargers were beaten by the Hartville Eagles 74-47 on Tuesday. That makes it the first time this season the Chargers have let down their home crowd.

When it comes to explaining why Lighthouse Christian lost, don't look at Judah Louderback. Despite the final result, he went 6 for 15 on his way to 20 points. Louderback has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Elijah Rahn, who posted 11 points and five rebounds.

Lighthouse Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Hartville, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which somehow still isn't as good as their 13-4 record this season.

Lighthouse Christian will head out on the road to square off against Southwest on Tuesday. Lighthouse Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 63.6 points per game this season. As for Hartville, they will welcome Logan-Rogersville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Logan-Rogersville has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 192 points over their last three contests.
