Soccer Recap: Pensacola Catholic Comes Up Short

Pensacola Catholic lost against Walton back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Pensacola Catholic Crusaders fell just short of the Walton Braves by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that the Crusaders have lost by just one goal.

Pensacola Catholic has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season. As for Walton, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Pensacola Catholic and Pine Forest will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 7:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025. As for Walton, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Rocky Bayou Christian at 5:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
