Baseball Recap: Haldane Comes Up Short

Haldane fell victim to Putnam Valley and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 14-0. The Blue Devils' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Haldane saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Milo Pearsall, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double was Pearsall's first of the season.

Haldane's record now sits at 2-9. As for Putnam Valley, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-1.

While Haldane had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
