Basketball Recap: Northview Takes a Loss

After flying high against Clarkston last Tuesday, Northview came back down to earth. The Northview Titans fell just short of the Druid Hills Red Devils by a score of 65-62 on Friday.

Northview's defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Druid Hills, their win bumped their record up to 2-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northview will venture away from home to challenge North Springs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Northview's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matchups. Druid Hills will take on Southwest DeKalb in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Southwest DeKalb will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Druid Hills surely won't give up without a fight.
