Baseball Recap: J.P. Stevens Comes Up Short

J.P. Stevens was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 6-3 to the North Plainfield Canucks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Canucks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 on Wednesday.

J.P. Stevens' loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for North Plainfield, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Coming up, J.P. Stevens will be playing at home against South River at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for North Plainfield, they will venture away from home to take on Kennedy Memorial at 10:00 a.m. on Monday.
