Softball Recap: St. Anthony Bulldogs vs. Neoga Indians
St. Anthony won the last time they faced Neoga and things went their way on Monday too. The Bulldogs never let the Indians get on the board and left with a 19-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.
Kelli Honselman made a splash no matter where she played. She tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Honselman was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
In other batting news, St. Anthony let Jackie Vonderheide and Lilly Gannaway run wild. Vonderheide went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base, while Gannaway went 2-for-4 with four runs and one double. That's the most RBI Vonderheide has posted since back in April of 2025. Julia Schultz was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.
St. Anthony was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .394. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Neoga only posted a batting average of .118.
