It's playoff time, and Hillcrest had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Shelley Russets 49-15 on Friday. Considering the Knights have won seven games by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Although Shelley took the loss, they still got scores from Jensen Horlacher and Conley Bennett.

The victory made it two in a row for Hillcrest and bumps their season record up to 9-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points over those games. As for Shelley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.

Coming up, Hillcrest will face off against Lakeland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hawks' defense has only allowed 11.8 points per game this season, so the Knights' offense will have their work cut out for them. Shelley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
