Volleyball Game Preview: La Joya Coyotes vs. Edinburg North Cougars

La Joya hasn't had much luck against Edinburg North recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Coyotes are taking a road trip to square off against the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

La Joya lost 3-0 to Edinburg on Saturday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-16, 25-15.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Edinburg North duked it out with Weslaco on Saturday. The Cougars came up short against the Panthers, falling 3-0.

While Edinburg North was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-22, 25-18.

Edinburg North's defeat dropped their record down to 15-12. As for La Joya, their loss dropped their record down to 10-13.

La Joya couldn't quite get it done against Edinburg North in their previous meeting back in August as they fell 2-0. Can the Coyotes avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
