After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Oak Ridge, Cardinal Newman was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the College Park Falcons, sneaking past 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Cardinals: when they faced off against the Falcons back in March, they had to take a 2-0 loss.

Cardinal Newman now has a winning record of 9-8. As for College Park, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.

Cardinal Newman will head out to square off against Windsor at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
