Basketball Game Preview: Harrison Raiders vs. Warsaw Tigers

The Harrison Raiders will venture away from home to take on the Warsaw Tigers at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Harrison is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Twin Lakes: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Harrison blew Twin Lakes out of the water with a 78-46 final score. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Warsaw earned a 47-39 win over Fort Wayne Northrop on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Bruins: they've now won three in a row.

Harrison has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.8 points over those games. As for Warsaw, their win bumped their record up to 19-4.

Harrison couldn't quite finish off Warsaw in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 and fell 67-65. Can Harrison avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
