Basketball Recap: Harrison Wins Going Away Against Houghton Lake

Harrison hadn't done well against Houghton Lake recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Harrison Hornets strolled past the Houghton Lake Bobcats with points to spare, taking the game 49-33. This was a revenge game for the Hornets: when they faced off against the Bobcats two weeks ago, they had to take a 46-35 defeat.

Harrison is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-14 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.5 points on average over those games. Houghton Lake has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season.
