Basketball Recap: South Hardin Takes a Loss

If South Hardin was feeling good fresh off their 68-44 takedown of Southeast Valley last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The South Hardin Tigers took a 71-54 bruising from the Hudson Pirates on Friday. The Tigers have struggled against the Pirates recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

When it comes to explaining why South Hardin lost, don't look at Alli Sheldahl. Despite the final result, she posted 22 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ayda Eller, who earned eight points along with seven assists and six boards.

South Hardin's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Hudson, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.

South Hardin will take on East Marshall at 6:15 p.m. on January 17th. As for Hudson, they will welcome Grundy Center at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
