Basketball Recap: Henry Sanchez Key Part of Team Effort in Jaguars Win

University Prep saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They walked away with a 51-44 win over the Hawthorne Math & Science Academy Aviators. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Jaguars.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead University Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Henry Sanchez, who posted eight points and 17 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Donald McFarlin, who earned 19 points and six boards.

University Prep's victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

University Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-20 defeat against AGBU on the 26th. As for Hawthorne Math & Science Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 77-25 loss against Chadwick on the 26th.
