Softball Recap: Randall Takes a Loss

Randall fell victim to West Plains and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Wolves, falling 6-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Raiders were not able to get on the board.

Randall's loss dropped their record down to 22-9. As for West Plains, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-12-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Randall is set to challenge their familiar foe Pampa at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, West Plains will square off against rival Dumas at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolves are on a four-game streak of home wins, the Demons a seven-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
