Baseball Recap: Liverpool Comes Up Short

The Liverpool Warriors came up short against the Lincoln County Panthers on Monday and fell 9-5. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Liverpool now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Lincoln County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Liverpool will venture away from home to take on Tuscarora at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lincoln County, they will challenge Cherry Hill West at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday. The Lions' pitching crew has only allowed 1.2 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
