Basketball Recap: Lewiston Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Lewiston extended their winning streak to three on Thursday, bumping them up to 5-6. They came out on top against the Parkview Christian Patriots by a score of 51-38. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Patriots back in December of 2025, they had to take a 66-48 defeat.

Lewiston's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tristen Wagner, who went 8-for-12 on his way to 17 points. Those 17 points gave Wagner a new career-high. Grady Weyers was another key player, putting up 14 points.

As for Parkview Christian, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-3. The contest marked their lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Parkview Christian lost, don't look at Dominic Back. Despite the final result, he posted 12 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Harlem McGinnis, who earned 11 points and three steals.

Lewiston wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 49-38 win against Southern on the 17th. As for Parkview Christian, they have also already played their next matchup, a 47-43 defeat against Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer on the 17th.
