Soccer Game Preview: Carroll vs. DeKalb

The Carroll Chargers will face off against the DeKalb Barons at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Carroll will be looking to extend their current 11-game winning streak.

Carroll is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Fort Wayne Snider a 7-0 shutout. Carroll's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last ten matches.

Meanwhile, DeKalb beat New Haven 3-1 on Tuesday.

The Barons hit the Bulldogs with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Romeo Avila, Elliott Neal, and Erickson Dietsch.

Carroll's victory bumped their record up to 14-1-1. As for DeKalb, their win bumped their record up to 10-7.

Everything went Carroll's way against DeKalb when the teams last played back in October of 2019, as Carroll made off with a 10-0 victory. Will the Chargers repeat their success, or do the Barons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
