New Heights Christian Academy came tearing into Thursday's match with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Jefferson Independent Day Cavaliers by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on October 2nd.

The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 26-28, 25-15, 25-16.

Lydia Hipple paced New Heights Christian Academy's offense, picking up 22 kills. Hipple got some help from Caitlin Meppelink and her 34 assists. Meppelink was also solid from the service line: she led the team with ten aces.

New Heights Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 18-9-5. As for Jefferson Independent Day, their loss dropped their record down to 18-9-3.
