Softball Game Preview: University Prep Value Wolves vs. ESAT Grizzlies

The University Prep Value Wolves will venture away from home to challenge the ESAT Grizzlies at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. University Prep Value knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully ESAT likes a good challenge.

Last Tuesday, University Prep Value didn't have quite enough to beat CALS Early College and fell 14-13. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game two weeks ago (ten), the Wolves still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, ESAT was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of CALS Early College. The match marked the Grizzlies' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

ESAT's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for University Prep Value, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Everything went University Prep Value's way against ESAT in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as University Prep Value made off with a 17-7 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolves since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
