Mastbaum Vo-Tech Panthers take on the Motivation Jaguars at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday... Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech sitting on three straight wins and Motivation on six.

On Tuesday, Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech didn't have too much trouble with Swenson Arts & Tech as they won 52-33. The team accrued 38 points in the first half and coasted on those for the victory.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech to victory, but perhaps none more so than Semaj Brown, who posted 16 points in addition to six boards and six steals. Those 16 points gave Brown a new career-high. Brown Jr was another key player, putting up 15 points and six rebounds.

Meanwhile, Motivation didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Science Leadership Academy on Tuesday, but they still walked away with a 50-44 win.

Motivation is also on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.5 points per game. As for Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech, they pushed their record up to 10-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Everything went Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech's way against Motivation in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, as Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech made off with a 73-49 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
