Basketball Recap: Clinton School Has No Trouble Against Pace

Clinton School won the last time they faced Pace and things went their way on Monday too. Clinton School took down the Pace Setters 47-31. Clinton School pushed the score to 41-16 by the end of the third, a deficit Pace cut but never quite recovered from.

Clinton School had a senior duo take command as Kate Stanley posted 21 points and Alessandra Stotz dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 boards. Stanley is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 16 or more in the last six games she's played. Another player making a difference was Victoria Choi, who scored six points.

Clinton School smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in 19 consecutive matchups.

Clinton School's record now sits at 13-6. As for Pace, they moved to 6-5 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
