Soccer Recap: Everett Takes a Loss

Everett lost against Monroe back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Seagulls lost 5-0 to the Bearcats. While losing is never fun, Everett can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 163rd, while Monroe are ranked 21st).

Everett now has a losing record of 5-6-4. As for Monroe, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-1.

Looking ahead, Everett will welcome Marysville Getchell at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Everett's defense better be ready for this one: Marysville Getchell has averaged an impressive 2.7 goals per game this season. Monroe does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
