There's no place like home for Perryville, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Saturday. They walked away with  a   2-0  victory over the Doniphan Dons  on Sunday. The Pirates haven't had any issues with the Dons recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive  win against them.
 Perryville easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-18,  25-13.
Their offense was headlined by  Lydia Schlimpert and  Kaeli Klaus, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from  Allyson Burns and her 13 assists.  Reese Behrle controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Perryville's victory bumped their record up to 8-14-2. As for Doniphan, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four matches. That's still a better percentage than their 3-12-1 record  this season.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Perryville will welcome Valle Catholic  at 6:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for Doniphan, they will take on Poplar Bluff at 6:30  p.m.  on Monday.
