Okay had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. Everything went their way against the Oaks-Mission Warriors as they made off with a 13-1 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mustangs also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Chase Clark and David Brunson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Clark tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Brunson tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. At bat, Clark scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3, while Brunson scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Okay got a massive performance out of Diezel Davis, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Gaven King, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3.

Oaks-Mission is on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Okay does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oaks-Mission, they will take on Bluejacket at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
