Volleyball Recap: Wheatland Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Wheatland was the 2-0 winner over Newcastle when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Dogies by a score of 3-2 on Saturday.

Wheatland actually scored more points across those five sets (102-95), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-20, 13-25, 17-25, 15-13.

Wheatland's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Newcastle, their victory bumped their record up to 7-14.

Coincidentally, Wheatland and Newcastle will both be playing Douglas the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will host the Bearcats at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Dogies will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
