Farragut dropped their record down to 22-7 on Thursday, which also ended the team's five-game streak of wins. They fell 8-5 to the Maryville Red Rebels. The Admirals were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Red Rebels earlier this season, when they won 13-4.

As for Maryville, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-15-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.6 runs over those games.

For Maryville's part, they got a great performance from Max Coleman as he tossed 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. Coleman has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Maryville let Gavin Dibartolomeo and Brenton Campbell run wild. Dibartolomeo got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one RBI, while Campbell went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Farragut has already played their next game (against Hardin Valley Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Maryville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
