Springville and Wasatch are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2022, but likely not for long. The Red Devils will head out to square off against the Wasps at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with seven consecutive losses for Springville and three for Wasatch.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Springville's offense. They lost 11-0 to Pleasant Grove on Wednesday.

Spanish Fork hit Wasatch with a five-run second inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Wasps fell just short of the Dons by a score of 6-4.

Jack Salmon was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run. Royal Matthews also deserves some recognition as he launched his first home run of the season.

Wasatch's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Springville, their loss dropped their record down to 5-11.

Springville came up short against Wasatch when the teams last played back in April of 2025, falling 10-7. Can the Red Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
