Softball Recap: Des Arc Drops Season-High Score on Heber Springs

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Des Arc). They walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Heber Springs Panthers on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

The team relied heavily on Emma Buckner, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two doubles. Kymber Buckner was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

The win got Des Arc back to even at 2-2. As for Heber Springs, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Coming up, Des Arc will head out on the road to square off against Barton at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Heber Springs, they will welcome Stuttgart at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Stuttgart is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.
