Basketball Recap: Bloomfield Takes a Loss

Bloomfield lost against Poplar Bluff back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bloomfield Wildcats took a blow against the Poplar Bluff Mules, falling 66-20. The contest marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Bloomfield's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-3. As for Poplar Bluff, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bloomfield will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Campbell at 7:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025. As for Poplar Bluff, they will face off against Scott County Central at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
