Volleyball Recap: Perry's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

Perry lost against Lowndes back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Panthers fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 2-1. The loss put an end to the Panthers' undefeated start to the season.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Perry sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 20-25, 15-9.

Having lost for the first time this season, Perry fell to 3-1. As for Lowndes, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Perry wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Thomas County Central on the 9th. As for Lowndes, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Brunswick on the 9th.
