Melbourne Central Catholic and Satellite are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Hustlers will square off against the Scorpions at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Melbourne Central Catholic had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of Rockledge by a score of 4-3. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Meanwhile, while Satellite put up some runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Melbourne. The Scorpions came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 4-0.

Brady Roberts made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). Roberts was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Austin Still was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Melbourne Central Catholic couldn't quite finish off Satellite in their previous matchup back in February of 2025 and fell 7-5. Can the Hustlers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
