Basketball Recap: Wenonah Gets the Win

Midfield typically has all the answers at home, but on Wednesday Wenonah proved too difficult a challenge. They pulled ahead with a 62-61 photo finish over the Midfield Patriots. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Dragons.

Midfield lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Malachi Robinson, who went 7 for 9 en route to 15 points along with five rebounds and three blocks. Robinson is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted three or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaron Adams-Martin, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 14 points.

Wenonah is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.2 points per game. As for Midfield, their loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-6.

Wenonah has already played their next match (against Parker), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Midfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
