Palmer Trinity proved they can win big on Friday (they won by eight) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Riviera Prep Bulldogs. The result kept Palmer Trinity happy, as they haven't lost a game since December 3, 2025.

Nicolas Baumberger and Felipe Valassco scored both of Palmer Trinity's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Palmer Trinity has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 29 goals over those six matchups. As for Riviera Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Looking ahead, Palmer Trinity will take on Belen Jesuit at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Belen Jesuit's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Riviera Prep, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Mater Lakes Academy on the 14th.
